A Beginning: Thank you snow day. I am creating.

Today there is no school because it snowed an inch and everyone in the Portland Metro area panics when there are white flakes on the ground.   It becomes chaos; shops close; roads are empty; traffic stops; schools all shut down; even the snowman go into hiding (mainly because they were never made in the first place because there isn't enough snow.)  If anyone ever has bad dandruff, and enters a coffee shop, the music stops, and everyone runs to their car.   Mind you, this is not because of the dandruff (that would be no big deal; dandruff happens).  It is the deep FEAR of snow that creates the mass exodus.

Okay...the truth is that when it snows the temperature usually hovers around freezing, bouncing the ground back and forth between melting and frozen...which does give reason for concern.  Chaos, no.  Concern...okay.

As I sit her in my slippers, watching the snowman I made stare at me (yes I made a snowman; it took seriously ALL the snow in the backyard to make, and now our yard is naked), I am filled with desire to create (apparently snowmen, and bare yards have this effect on me...).

So, I am creating you.  (In case there is any confusion: I am not the maker of readers, simply words.  I am pretty sure any readers of these created words were in existence far before they read the words created.)
